Alternative consumer dispute resolution

The consumer has the right to contact the Seller with a request for redress if the consumer is not satisfied with the way the Seller handled their complaint, or believes that the Seller has violated their rights. The request may be sent by e-mail to support@zajo.com or in writing to the Seller's registered address.

If the Seller rejects the request for redress or fails to respond to it within 30 days from the date it was sent, the consumer has the right to submit a proposal to initiate alternative dispute resolution under Section 12 of Slovak Act no. 391/2015 Coll. on alternative consumer dispute resolution.

Under that Act, the Seller is obliged to participate in alternative dispute resolution proceedings and is willing to do so.

Competent alternative dispute resolution body Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia) Central Inspectorate, Department for International Relations and Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution Bajkalská 21/A, P. O. Box 29, 827 99 Bratislava, Slovak Republic www.soi.sk | ars@soi.sk

As the Seller is a Slovak company, alternative dispute resolution is governed by Slovak law. The competent body is therefore the Slovak Trade Inspection, not the consumer protection authority of the consumer's country of residence.

The consumer may also choose another entity listed in the register of alternative dispute resolution bodies maintained by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic (www.mhsr.sk). The choice of body rests with the consumer.

Submitting a proposal The proposal may be submitted in writing or electronically using the form provided by the competent body. The body may charge the consumer a fee for initiating the proceedings of no more than 5 euros including value added tax.

Cross-border disputes In disputes with a cross-border element, the European Consumer Centre in the consumer's country of residence provides free assistance (ECC-Net).

Note on the European ODR platform The European online dispute resolution (ODR) platform has been discontinued and has not accepted new complaints since 20 July 2025. The procedure described above applies.
